Full-Arch Restoration

Having few or no healthy, functioning teeth can drastically affect your quality of life. Tasks that most people find simple, like eating and speaking, can become difficult and the pain associated with broken and missing teeth can be very uncomfortable. Fortunately, we offer a revolutionary procedure that allows Dr. Davis to replace an entire arch of teeth using four or more strategically-placed dental implants. The All-On-4® or TEETH-IN-A-DAY™ system was developed by Nobel Biocare and provides a brand new set of beautiful teeth that look and function just like healthy natural teeth would. In addition to restoring your ability to eat, speak, and smile comfortably, the dental implants will stimulate the bone anchoring the teeth, which prevents jaw bone loss.

Benefits of Full-Arch Restoration

Replacing an entire arch of teeth using dental implant technology provides a variety of advantages over more traditional forms of tooth replacement.

Full-arch restoration is permanent and secure. Dental implants act as the base for your new set of teeth, permanently securing them in place. Unlike dentures you don’t need to worry about your teeth falling out while you eat or speak.

You can start to enjoy the benefits of your new smile immediately. In many cases, your dental provider will fit a set of temporary teeth for you to use while your implant sites heal, allowing you to enjoy your beautiful smile as soon as you leave.

The procedure is very efficient and minimizes your healing time. Dr. Davis can strategically angle the dental implants to maximize hold and security. These advances in dental implant technology eliminate the need for excessive bone grafting procedures or the need to restore each tooth with individual implants, which require additional procedures and recovery time.

The dental implants that secure your new set of teeth promote bone health. Dental implants stimulate the bone beneath the teeth, which prevents bone loss and promotes overall oral health.

The results look fabulous. Many people feel held back by their missing teeth. Full-arch restoration completely restores your smile and facial aesthetics. You can feel confident with the natural-looking results you see from treatment.

How does full-arch restoration work?

Dr. Davis customizes each treatment plan to serve your individual needs. In all cases, Dr. Davis will first perform a thorough oral examination and take scans as needed to form an exact treatment plan. The exact details of your procedure will depend on your jaw bone health, the number of teeth left in your mouth, your overall physical health amongst other factors.

During the procedure, most patients will undergo IV anaesthesia, which allows them to sleep comfortably throughout the implant placement. Any teeth remaining in the arch will be extracted and Dr. Davis will place your dental implants using custom surgical guides. When the procedure is completed, your temporary set of teeth will be placed. Finally, once your implant sites have healed, your permanent set of teeth will be secured to the dental implants.

Am I a candidate for full-arch restoration?
